Google先生がまた賢くなったようで。 「Google翻訳」にニューラルネットワーク採用！
簡単にいえば、人工知能が翻訳するようになって、翻訳精度が向上したとのこと。
今まではGoogle翻訳＝謎翻訳、となることも多かったですが、その実力やいかに。
さっそく、太宰治の「走れメロス」の冒頭部分を訳してみました。
"メロスは激怒した。必ず、かの邪智暴虐じゃちぼうぎゃくの王を除かなければならぬと決意した。メロスには政治がわからぬ。メロスは、村の牧人である。笛を吹き、羊と遊んで暮して来た。けれども邪悪に対しては、人一倍に敏感であった。きょう未明メロスは村を出発し、野を越え山越え、十里はなれた此このシラクスの市にやって来た。メロスには父も、母も無い。女房も無い。十六の、内気な妹と二人暮しだ。この妹は、村の或る律気な一牧人を、近々、花婿はなむことして迎える事になっていた。"

確かに文章レベルはかなり上がった印象です。
文法的にはものすごく自然に読めて、理解できるようになっています。
ただ、文章全体をから、一人称・三人称、或いはそれぞれの文節で指示している人物が全然違うことが多いですね。
※原文
「王様は、人を殺します。」
「なぜ殺すのだ。」
※訳文
"The king will kill people." → 王は人を殺します
"Why are you killing me?" → あなたはなぜ私を殺すのだ（！？）
日本語は英語と違い、主語を省く表現が多いので、これはちょっと仕方がないのかもしれませんね。。
ただ、確かにかなり進化していると感じます！さすがGoogle先生、ですね。
